POETRY IN MOTION… .

Poetry is more than the skill of writing verse. It is a commitment, love of the written word, it is an inexhaustible passion for the white light of language. It is never holding back….never being afraid the reader will know what you really mean.

Poetry is defining and redefining what you feel. It is making music out of your own life and out of the awesome, sometimes frightening world around you. It is capturing dreams, memories, the majesty of a moment. It is capturing a thought, without fear of sharing it. In "Fireflies In Motion" who has not ever experienced unallowable passion, warmth of skin you should not have touched, a brief moment of heated adoration that wouldn’t cool? Poetry justifies and excuses that passion and lets you dare to speak your thoughts.

Poetry for me, is capturing the fugitive images running through my mind. It is allowing you to sense what I sense, feel what I feel. It is raw inspiration for you to feel the things you have never dared to feel, love those you’ve never dared to love…Poetry is serious, it is spiritual, and never, ever a lie, just merely the way I needed to see or feel something at that moment.

Rid your mind of all that is petty, meticulous. Hold nothing back. This book is for you. Make music out of the things you long for Make music for those you love and for the ineffably exquisite memories that burn deeply in your heart.
